Get in Touch

You can reach us at info@climatemoneywatchdog.org or 707-327-0636, or use one of the more secure methods described below.

Support Us

We are ready to welcome tax-exempt donations as a fiscally sponsored project of the Media Alliance! We are still in start-up mode while we raise enough money to afford the kind of liability insurance used to protect journalists from intimidating lawsuits: We will begin publishing more of our work once we have that in place. If you're interested in supporting us at this stage, please contact us at the e-mail address above. After better understanding of how you'd like to help, we can provide you with access to materials on our Supporters page.

Blow the Whistle on Waste, Fraud and Abuse

WAIT!
Whether you're in government or in the private sector, going outside the formal management structure to bring attention to wrongdoing can have serious consequences. Before you share anything confidential with us or anyone else, we encourage you to contact us for a general discussion of your rights under the law, our rights to keep your identity a secret, and your options for moving forward.

You may begin contact with us either by phone or e-mail, or by using one of the more secure means described below.

PGP Encryption

PGP encryption is an open technology that can be used to encrypt information you send to us such that it cannot be read by anyone without employing powerful computing and cryptographic resources. Note that PGP does not encrypt e-mail headers, so it does not protect you against someone discovering that you have communicated with us: It only makes it very hard for them to read what you've sent us.

Signal Communication Service

Signal is a messaging service providing end-to-end encryption for text, voice, video and file-based communication. Because headers aren't exposed the way they are in e-mail, it is more difficult to discover your identity.

Maximize Your Data Security

Remember that even the most powerful encryption is useless if someone manages to look at the information you're sharing before you've encrypted it. And if someone you don't trust has access to devices you're using to handle sensitive information, such as your phone, table or PC, especially those you use at work, they have opportunities to install software that will allow them to see unencrypted data there, as well as data that's been encrypted with keys they control. With these considerations in mind, we recommend you:
  • Avoid communicating using phones, tablets, PC's or other equipment provided by your employer.
  • The more sensitive the information, the more you should thoroughly understand the devices and software you use to communicate.
